FAQ
When should I book?
As early as possible! I only work with a limited number of families per year and in order to give clients everything they deserve, I only work with two families per month. I encourage you to contact me as soon as you know you are expecting.
Will we meet before the birth?
I am always happy to meet with families before the birth. Birth is a very personal and intimate experience and you should be comfortable with my presence. Whether you prefer to meet in person, via video chat or over the phone, I am glad to accommodate your requests.
When will you show up?
Ideally, I will arrive sometime during active labor. The most perfect timing is a few hours before the baby arrives, for a total of 4-6 hours of coverage. Based on a variety of indicators, we do our best to gauge the best time for me to show up.Usually it is best to go by how close together your contractions are and how difficult they are for you to. Other factors include dilation, effacement and station (if known), and if your membranes are ruptured or intact.
What if I miss the birth?
Babies are unpredictable, and although rare, missed births can happen. If you have a super fast labor, I will still come to the birth place to document as much as I can. If too many moments are missed and I am unable to build a full gallery, I would be happy to offer a Fresh 48 or Documentary style photo session for a day soon after the baby arrives. In the event of illness or an emergency, !!!!!!!!!!WHAT!!!!!!!
How soon will I see my images?
Immediately! I will deliver a handful of edited images for you to see and share right away, Usually within 24 hours. The full gallery takes time and you can expect turnaround anywhere between 6- 8 weeks.
